Making South Beautiful!
The German Club (students and parents) and PTSA cleared the area along the carpool circle by the auditorium last week. Many thanks to all who pitched in to help this service project. Nominating Committee – ISO Parents who want to help!
While it’s still November, we will begin the process of identifying leadership for next year’s PTSA in the coming weeks. We are recruiting parents to serve on our Nominating committee. The nominating committee members contact the volunteers currently serving and reach out to new individuals to commit to serving next school year. SM is a diverse school that has many feeder middle schools and our goal is to reach out to parents from all schools to make sure PTSA is well-represented and as diverse as our student body. Dads, moms and guardians – are all welcome. This is a great opportunity to meet other parents and learn more about SM and PTSA. Please consider joining us! IYC – Getting closer to our goalWe are wrapping up our IYC but can’t finish until we get to $45,000. You can help us! Every dollar counts, no amount is too small or too large. We are grateful for every donation and it truly makes a difference! PTSA supports ALL students and staff. Find details at

Stop by and catch the Christmas spirit!
Decorate, donate a toy, wrap a gift, the whole family is welcome!
There is no sign up, no schedule, just show up, we need a lot of help!
We will be decorating the school inside and out.
There will be food trucks to buy lunch so you don’t have to leave!
Have a bike to donate? Bring it on Friday, December 14th. It will brighten someone’s holiday!
Cookies – We like Cookies If you’re snowed in this weekend and feel like baking, we’ll be happy to take some for you. Bake, freeze and send in on Dec. 18. We will need all varieties and types. Watch our updates and email blasts for the link to sign up. SM Cookie Monsters thank you!
