Women's Golf Updates

GO GOLF! It has been an exciting record setting year for the women's golf team- the SM women’s golf team beat Providence HS for the first time ever! They set, reset and set yet again the lowest scores. The SM team took 4 girls to the NC 4A West Regional Tournament, and to add another first to the list, are taking 2 freshmen to the State Championship Tournament in Pinehurst!!!
Highlights:
Maggie Magner finished 7th overall at the regional Tournament with a 79.
Emma Williams had a nerve-racking finish, coming in just one shot under the cut line for States.
Ann Jones and Stephany Noh both shot their lowest 18 hole rounds but were just over the cut line.
The girls have achieved and exceeded every goal set for the season. Their proud coach, Mr. Paulk, congratulates the girls for all of the hard work and dedication they have shown this season.
