Women's Golf Victory!

Congratulations to the South Meck Women's Golf Team for beating Providence High School, a feat that has not happened in women's golf history!

With a tremendous performance by all our young women yesterday, we shot our record team low score of 116, bringing our record from earlier this season down 5 strokes. Ann Jones shot the record team low score of 37. She was followed by Maggie Magner with her 3rd 38 of the season. Thinking we had this in the bag, Providence came in with an even par 36 and a 38, putting them ahead by 1, but Emma Williams bested her playing opponent 41 to 43 giving us the victory by 1 stroke. Stephany Noh needed a 51 or better and came in with a 49 which qualifies her for Regionals! What a season!

On Wednesday Maggie Magner placed third in our Conference Tournament and made the All-Conference Team.

The Women's Golf Team is currently 4-3. Major congratulations to our amazing team!
