2018 Student Library Ambassador Program


Win a free trip to Washington, D.C. by showing your support for libraries! The North Carolina Library Association is pleased to announce the 5th annual Student Library Ambassador program. We are seeking one k-12 or college student winner from each of North Carolina's 13 congressional districts.

HOW TO ENTER: Create an essay, video, presentation, etc. to show how much you love libraries and the effect they have had on your life.

All submissions should answer the following questions:

  1. Why are libraries important to you and your classmates?

  2. How have libraries impacted you personally?

  3. How are libraries important for the future of North Carolina?

All submissions should include: your name, grade or academic year in school/college, name of the school/college, telephone, email, and mailing address. The top 3 rated entries will win a free trip to Washington, D.C. and all 13 student ambassadors will receive a free t-shirt, framed certificate, be profiled on our website, and meet in person with both their members of congress at their local offices in NC to discuss the importance of libraries.
