South Meck Results from NC HOSA Regional Leadership Conference

South Mecklenburg High School hosted the North Carolina HOSA Southwest Regional Leadership Conference on Saturday November 17, 2018 where more than 300 students from the 10 NC HOSA Southwestern Region counties in NC competed in 18 events.
Top ten finish in Nurse Assisting by Sarah Britain earned her the opportunity to advance to the State level of competition in March.
Margaret Moore and Emma Grace Barnes earned 3rd place in CPR / First Aid.
Vivien Liebler won 1st place in Health Career Photography.
And again this year, South Meck swept the HOSA Bowl competition, winning first, second and third place.
3rd place team was: Cameron Alsop, Kean Farhani, Connor Larson and Sai Pulicherla
2nd place team was: Mac Barnes, ALex Brittain, Kady Hillman and Kate Terry
1st place team was: Eyram Bossiade, Katie Jackson,Anuj Kalia and Chloe Larson
We had incredible support from teachers and staff alike, and are so thankful for the opportunity that everyone's hard work has provided for our students.
