Nominations are now open for the annual NCWIT (National Council Of Women In Information Technology) Aspiration Awards for young women in grades 9 through 12.

Each year CATC (Charlotte Area Technology Collaborative) and WISE (Women In Science Technology) plans, promotes, and presents an event for regionals winners. Scholarships are then awarded to regional winners. The NCWIT Award for AiC honors women in grades 9 through 12 who are active and interested in computing and technology, and encourages them to pursue their passions. The multi-tiered award structure includes winner, honorable mention, and certificate of distinction designations at national and regional levels.
