Parents and students interested in applying to Governor's School this year should attend the local information meeting. This event will be held in the auditorium at Waddell Language Academy on Thursday, September 13th from 6-7 pm.
Tom Winton from N.C. Governor's School will be there to talk about the NC Governor's School program and application process! For more info, you can visit the NC Governor's School Website. The deadline to submit your application to your school counselor is no later than October 22, 2018!
Important Dates:
October 23 – Application Turn-In
November 13 – Students notified if moving forward as CMS Nominee
February 2019 – Auditions for Performing Arts applicants (Governor’s School will send more info closer to the date)
March 2019 – Students are selected by NC Governor’s School
